To qualify for the early bird discount and priority booking you must submit both your booking form and your payment by the deadline. The early bird deadlines can be found on the booking forms or on our calendar.

During the continuing COVID-19 crisis, we are attempting to balance the requirements of parents with the long-term stability of WOSC. We understand that WOSC is an important local facility and any decisions we make we is so we can to maintain both our financial stability and our valued staff.
We will continue to update our information as changes in advice are made and this will be communicated by letter and our website under our new Covid-19 page. We will not be able to give any immediate response to emails but hope that the FAQ will help provide the answers to common questions.
Breakfast club and afterschool club will be open only for the children of Key workers who have confirmation from school that they are eligible. These families will be contacted separately by the WOSC manager
We will not be refunding any fees paid for the term time sessions up until 2nd April. This has not been an easy decision for us to make, but this money will greatly help us in paying staff wages over the next few weeks.
WOSC will not open for Easter holiday club for the same reasons that the school have stated: Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be. We also want to minimise the risks for all children and staff. We will be communicating separately with our key worker families once we and the school have been able to plan for the childcare required in this period.
At this time all advance bookings have been taken for the Easter holiday period and the cancellation policy for holiday club remains unchanged; Cancellations made by parent/carer will not be refunded
However, the WOSC committee will review the clubs’ finances considering the current information provided by the government. This will enable us to decide what proportion of fees we can refund for those who were booked into holiday club. We will be providing refunds, but we must assess our finances first, so we ask again for your patience whilst we do this. We very much hope that the announcement by the government today regarding payment of wages will be applicable for WOSC. This will be essential in allowing us to pay our staff and efficiently resume our services when appropriate to do so.
Schools have been asked to close ‘indefinitely’ so we do not know how long it will be until we are back to normal. We are not sure if we will be open any of the term time period from the end of April through to May half term. Now this seems unlikely, given the indications from the government. We are therefore are suspending term time booking for the April -May period until further notice. Any payments already made will be refunded or credited if you have paid by childcare vouchers
As a not for profit organisation and a childcare provider our main outgoing is payment of staff wages. We are committed not to make profit but we want to try to maintain the club’s financial viability. Recruitment is a long-standing issue for WOSC that already limits our services. If we are forced, due to lack of funds, to reduce the number of staff we will find them very hard to replace. Potentially WOSC may have to open after any COVID-19 shut-down with a substantially reduced capacity and therefore be unable to meet many of your childcare requirements. We hope we can all work together to try our best to ensure that we can reduce the impact of this difficult time for ourselves as parents, and also for the WOSC staff.
